Speed Cameras Northern Ireland
Here on speedcam.org we offer the locations of all currently known fixed speed cameras. In the future we will expand our website to offer the people of N.Ireland other things that may help them on the roads.
Currently, We have a database of Gatso speed cameras, these are typically a single camera on its own and in N.Ireland they all seem to be in 30mph zones. We also offer all known Specs cameras, these are average speed cameras and are found in large numbers along the same road, pretty easy to spot mostly as they are high above the road and painted bright yellow! We have a selection of known Red Light Cameras, these are to stop you going through red traffic lights.
We have an interaction map displaying all of this information and the locations are fiarly accurate, In some cases you can switch the map to show statilite images and you are able to zoom into the road and find the actual camera. In other cases, the cameras have been installed after the satilate images have been collected and will not be shown, an example of this are the Specs cameras (Average Speed) going from belfast to Bangor.
